Empowering and training teachers in poor communities has become a priority for POUYA. By organizing events and training sessions for teachers in local indigenous communities, POUYA plans to boost the level and quality of education in these remote indigenous areas, which will certainly have long-lasting effects, for current and future students.
POUYA also has organized educational and counseling programs for current students, to help and prepare them for university entrance examinations and other areas in which current students can flourish.
In addition to educational courses to boost academic understanding and vocational skills, part of POUYA’s Educate Together program involves holding social educational sessions to help educate students and teachers to become better prepared in dealing with social problems and crises that happen often for most people. POUYA believes that such teachings will result in better cooperation and teamwork, and ultimately yield better collective results for each community.
